Itayado Shopping Mall in the suburbs of Kobe Japan has some great local shops that are not found in the main city areas of Kobe. There is a great 100 yen shop near the entrance of the shopping street. It will even waive the 10 yen tax on each item for tourists.

Minato Mirai Bay Area Yokohama Visual Tour みなとみらい

Minato Mirai is often called MM, and is the main business district of Yokohama, Japan. It was developed in the 1980s,as a large development and new urban center which planned to connect Yokohama's  important  commercial  areas of Kannai and the Yokohama Station area.

Minato Mirai has become  the major center for business, shopping, and tourism in Yokohama,  attracting visitors from tokyo and all over the world. The business district has several major hotels, office towers including the Yokohama Landmark Tower, the Pacifico Yokohama convention center, art museums, aswell as many cafés  and  shopping centers.

Views of Kobe from Sumaura Koen Observation deck 須磨浦公園神戸

Sumaura Koen offers one of the best views of Kobe from the top of the mountain. There is a cable car ride to the top, or you can walk the trail to the top for free. Watch the video to see all the sights along the trail and the wonderful view of Suma beach and Kobe city from the top of the mountain. There is also a retro game center at the top.

Water Shot Ride Suma Aquarium Kobe Japan

After you finish the Aquarium tour, enjoy some rides at the amusement park with your children. There are many rides such as the merry-go-round, Balloon Cycle, Anpanman Train, and the Water shot ride among others. The fee for each ride is 200 or 300 yen.

3 Wise Monkeys at Sumadera Kobe Japan 須磨寺

The three wise monkeys are called sanzaru in Japanese. They represent the Buddhism principles of "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil". Please watch the video to see the monkeys cover their eyes, ears and mouth.

The Sumadera temple belongs to the Shingon Buddhism sect and was founded in 886 AD. It is my favorite religious place in Kobe.
